Every few days we find water on the floor in front of the refrigerator. I cannot find leaking anywhere around it. After each replacement, the doorbell worked for about two or three days, then the transformer blew out. What could be causing this to happen? Is it due to a short in the wiring? Do I need an electrician or should I consider replacing the electric doorbell with a wireless one. I have a front and a back doorbell.

The doors in the bedrooms in my house close by themselves unless we block them open. Do you have any suggestions? How to keep them open without using doorstops; my wife does not like the way they look.
