Sometimes when I open my dishwasher there is dirty water in the bottom of the dishwasher. I can’t figure out where it is coming from because it is not there when I emptied it the day before. I am at a loss as to where it comes from.

Our home is about 7 years old and we have the original appliances in our kitchen. Our dishwasher still works well but has become really ugly due to the stains on the inside of the washer. There are rusty, orange stains on the inside. I have tried different cleaners, including bleach to try and get rid of the stains with no luck. I really don’t want to replace the dishwasher because it still works well. Any suggestions to clean the stains?
