The problem is most likely a defective AFCI (arc fault circuit interrupter) breaker. This is a breaker that is required in all bedrooms that detects an arc, which is a fire hazard. We have found a high percentage of these breakers to be defective or improperly installed. I would suggest that you call your electrician to come check the circuit.
